Spring Series Simply Charming Eclectic Vintage

I was so excited when the final package arrived with supplies to complete my charm bracelet design. This is a sneak peak at what's in store from GDO for spring 2010. I have chosen a gorgeous silver plated brass oxidized chain and adorned it with a mix of vintage treasures and charming new elements. This is a great piece to throw on with a pair of jeans and white T. With the perfect splash of color. You can't go wrong if you choose to add this to your own jewelry collection or give as a gift. These coordinate perfectly with my patina earrings, lucite rings and charm necklaces. I can't go without saying Thank You to my dear friend Michelle of Marye Street Studio. She continues to encourage and inspire me as business continues to take new turns for us both. We plan to incorporate her pieces with the charm bracelet series, so be on the lookout for more great designs in the future.

Kicking off the New Year right

I have to say that 2009 was an amazing year. Personally and for Girls Day Out. I learned a lot and grew in ways I never imagined. The rewards from running my own company and designing for women and little girls has been better than anything I ever expected. I have built some wonderful relationships with women in the industry who have challenged me to do things I would have never done without them. So, I have to share in how proud I am for stepping up to the challenge and being selected for the Feb 2010 Country Living Issue. My design is exclusively available from chickspicksbyhillary.com. GDO Final Day at The City Market

This Saturday will be my last day at the Charlottesville City Market for 2009. It has been an amazing year for Girls Day Out, but I am definately ready for a short break. This weekend I will have a great variety of goodies. So, take advantage of my last trip to Charlottesville and stock up for holiday gifts. I will take orders for the Heirloom locket and plan to have them shipped by the end of the month. I look forward to seeing everyone. We're expecting gorgeous weather. Last week I stocked up on our newest design from Girls Day Out. I took all that I had on hand to the City Market in Charlottesville, and by 10am, I was sold out! So, I have a good thing going here.
